Default I need to lose weight, diet pills????

Hi I am new here, I really need to lose weight, before summer comes, I have tried every diet there is. I have always messed it up after a few days. I don't want to be fat this summer. I have been thinking about diet pills, but I don't know if they are really bad or not. I was hoping I would maybe get some answers here!!!!

Well, when it comes to diet pills you should know that it would be wise to know the side effects of some of them especially if you suffer from any medical condition like diabetes, high blood pressure, have thyroid disease etc. or are taking any meds for these. Secondly, looking at the ingredient profile and acquainting yourself with the active ingredients would be a good idea as well.

Personally, I've done my share of diet pills, both prescription and otc. Only one that I tried ever did anything for me both in combination with exercise and a slightly reduced calorie diet). It was a product called Oxitrim. I was upstate NY last year for thanksgiving with my mom and she got this flyer in the mail and I was sorting through the junk and for some reason this one stood out. It was obviously targeted at women and claimed to be designed specifically for women yada yada... but it stood out because it provided some information on a bio process that I am very familiar with (I'm an exercise physiologist by prof). I remembered all the Cortislim **** that I bought into a few years ago but never thought someone would have thought to do a product like this. Long story short, I ordered the stuff which came with exercise and diet goods which were good but I didn't need and some cream or something like that. Followed the label directions with my personal program and have lost 26lbs (as of today). I'm not saying it's a miracle pill or anything but I've tried other products before and none have really helped to get here this quickly. I was also kinda happy to see that there's some people out there using their knowledge of biochemistry to do something new because I'm just tired of the same old stuff.

The sides-dry mouth, a little jitters but not to the extent that I've had with others like Zantrex. It did a bit of a number on my appetite too because I really wasn't eating that much and felt a little warm throughout the day and had to turn up the a/c a bit.IMO drink lots of water with any diet pill.

Thanks for the info. most poeple are so neg. about diet pills, I know that some are really bad (like the tapeworm thing YUCK!!!) I am just looking for a little help for a few weeks, just to get me going, but finding the right one is hard, I am afraid of side-effects, although taking a pill for 1 month can't be too bad or?? I just want to check things out.

Hi I also want to get rid of my overweight as soon as possible. You were talking about diet pills in here. Unfortunately I don't have any experiences with diet pills, does anybody else have? Tinkerbell52, do you know any good weight loss pills? I have heard that some of them are very harmful, aren't they?

Default I've tried Phentermine

I was on Phentermine for approx. 3 months back in 2003. I lost probably 20 lbs in those months, but I was also eating a 1000 cal diet per day. It really screwed my metabolism up, so when I went off of them and started eating "normally", mind you fruits and veggies, lean meats etc. the weight started piling on again. So here we are, 5 years later and 35 lbs. heavier than when I even started taking the pill. It did make me very jittery at first and I was constantly thirsty all of the time. If I took the pills after 1:00 in the afternoon, I would be up half the night. Sometimes I want to go back on them just to make me feel like I'm accomplishing something, but I know that it would be a short term solution and I would probably wind back up in the same situation again. I just really want the weight gone!

I have been checking all around, asked at work and came up with a diet pill called redusyn, have you heard about it? Sounds like it might be the one for me, I think I might order a one month supply and try it out. I am gonna make an eating plan and exercise plan and by then I should get the pills, and then I will go for it. Will keep you posted.

Unfortunately I haven't heard of redusyn yet. But I will try to find information about that weight loss pill later. Maybe it could help me to lose weight. So you said that you wanted to order a one month supply. Do you think that this is enough? And how much is the product?

I ordered the redusyn pills today and only for 1 month, it better be because I don't want to get hooked on anything, just use them as a starter, at work they said they are good without side effects, so I am gonna give them a try. I am open for any tips, I really want to change. I want to be thin again, and this time I am really gonna work on it. Will keep you posted.
