Danger !!! Stop taking removyl !!!
On 6-29-09 I took Removyl as usual and immediately felt extreme nausea. I ran through a list of excuses and decided that since I am still new to these pills (started on the 25th), maybe my system is just getting used to them. So, I got through my day ok and gave it another shot the morning of the 30th. While showering, I was overcome with extreme nausea again only this time I was faint and very short of breath. I basically slithered to my bed soaking wet and had to tell my 3 year old to call for help. My face was blue and my husband drove me to the hospital. I was so embarrassed about the thought of needing emergency medical over diet pills that I sat outside the emergency room in the car for over 2 hours trying to catch my breath. My hands went completely numb all the way up to my arms. I tried to put my mind in a meditative state and fell asleep for a short while. Little by little I regained normal behavior and felt good enough to go home. I started doing research about this pill to find out that it has been BANNED in all of Europe and was previously named Xylokall 900 & Algoxyll 500. It looks like each time they get caught by FACUA, they change their name! READ THIS PDF REPORT OF ILLEGAL DRUGS: Removyl is reported and in 2004 there was 1 major health concern/death and 2007 there was 4! They talk about how even herbal ingredients like Removyl can be banned for safety concerns.
I will not be taking Removyl anymore and would strongly urge everyone reading this post to be careful. I am a 26 year old female in great health so it really concerns me that others may experience worse than I have. Scary! Oh, I just want to note that I followed the instructions to a tee and only took 1 pill a day.

Here's a report originally in Spanish that my husband translated for everyone:
A Swiss company/signature continues selling its drugs although Health has ordered from 2002 the retirement of its four false slimming ones Elyseum Group that operates in Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands and Switzerland sells the clandestine drug Removyl through a page Web and a telephone. Another one of its products got to use three different names that they changed whenever the Spanish Agency of the Medicine ordered its retirement
The Federation of Consumers in Action (FACUA) denunciation that the Swiss company Elyseum Group continues selling its drugs in Spain after the Spanish Agency of the Medicine of the Ministry of Health and Consumption has ordered from 2002 the retirement of its four false slimming ones
The company, denounced repeatedly by FACUA for three years, continues operating in Spain through a telephone switchboard (with number 902 508 479) located in Madrid, a page Web (removyl.com) and a center of distribution with soothes in Badajoz. Also it acts in the Netherlands and Portugal, besides Switzerland.
The Removyl medicine, which the Agency ordered its retirement in March of 2004, has continued commercializing in Spain, Portugal and Switzerland. Besides these tablets, the company sells another drug, in the form of serum, that in Spain got to use three denominations, Algoxyll 500, Xylokall 900 and “distillate of 19 plants" , that they changed whenever the Agency of the Medicine insisted to its retirement. The serum continues being sold with the Algoxyll denomination in the Netherlands, Portugal and Switzerland.
FACUA criticism the inefficiency of the Spanish Agency of the Medicine that in three years has not taken the measures necessary to end the activities of the company. In 2003, the Agency informed to FACUA that " in June of the present year the opportune contacts with the sanitary Authorities of Switzerland have begun (...) to be able to adopt the conducive opportune measures to the cease of the publicity and commercialization of these illegal medicines in Spain". Measures that did not get to take themselves.
The product invites to leave the medical diets, exercise and advice to always become thin for (" all their metabolism will be modified smoothly"), losing even " 5 kilos in less than one week". It hides in addition that a spectacular loss of weight is a drug when promising “without effort and medications" , appearing like " an oil combination essentials". " You also can lose up to 400 grams in 8 hours" , he assures in his page Web.
FACUA has reiterated once again their denunciation before the Spanish Agency of the Medicine and has asked for also the activities of the Council of Health and Consumption of the Community of Madrid, from where the telephone switchboard of the company works, and Council of Health and Consumption of the Meeting of Extremadura, since the product is sent from Badajoz.
The clandestine drug announces through Internet by means of the removyl.com dominion, registered by the company Green Mail, and Orderservice (orderservice/removyl), to name of Elyseum Group, both with you soothe in Switzerland (in the registry data of his different dominions they appear directions of Zurich, Lausanne and Lachen). In the name of Elyseum Group also they are the dominions algoxyll and xylokall.com.

I am very happy to say that from Sunday to today I have lost 4 pounds. WITHOUT that stupid pill. It's worthless, and and I think it made me gain the weight. My husbands theory is, it makes you gain so weight so you reorder thinking you did something wrong and hence, you purchase more to do it "right". I was eating right, I was exercising way more than I ever have. I'm done with them. Huge waste of money. I won't be the size I want for vacation, but at least I'm losing it. I think I read on here where someone said they think it's all in your head. I would have to agree.
Do not buy this worthless, expensive, diet pill.

Be very very careful if you consider taking removyl.
REMovyl has a great quantity of essential oils; rosemary, sage, caraway, juniper, coriander, basil, cinnamon, clover, star anise, sweet orange, Tasmanian blue eucalyptus and black pepper. The lone explanation of any of these 13 components is that ‘each has their own function,’ which is not extremely useful. It contains other ingredients, such as Caffeine and Camelia Sinensi, but just like before, there is not any information given as to why they are included. As the components are blended in a proprietary mixture, the quantity of each is not revealed, nor is the real product label displayed. The REMovyl pills are to be ingested twice daily, one pill in the morning upon waking and two 6 to 10 hours after. It is emphasizeded that just 2 servings should be taken in any 24 hour time period, which is a strong indication that the pill may include a huge quantity of caffeine.
The REMovyl website contains very limited information.
The company is very ambiguous about the amount of weight loss to be expected.
It is not explained how weight loss can be maintained, as they claim it will.
The FAQ section is very poor and uninformative.
No clinical trials have been performed on REMovyl.
The company does not encourage any changes in diet or exercise. (but I know for a fact that you can not lose weight without making changes in your lifestyle).
REMovyl has received very negative independent reviews.
