If you are going to have any bread, switch to whole grain or whole wheat, and limit that. Eat fresh fruits and veggies throughout the day, you should have a small snack before you even start to feel hungry. By eating consistantly throughout the day, your metabolism with speed up. Just make sure what you are eating is low in fats, sugars, and carbs but high in protein.
Some things to try:
Egg white omlettes are great for breakfast with low-fat cheese and fresh mushrooms or other veggies and a side of a grapefruit or low-fat cottage cheese.
Have a snack of carrot sticks or an apple in between breakfast and lunch and make sure to drink plenty of water!!
Grilled chicken, steak, or fish with broccoli, green beans, or a light salad will fill you up for lunch.
Make sure you keep small snacks with you all day, keep in mind you should have something small to eat before you even feel hungry.
Then have something light for dinner.
Try to avoid snacking before bedtime... your body will not process food in your stomach properly while you are sleeping and you are unable to burn the calories you would while awake.
It's shocking how much more you can eat and still lose weight!
