    Hey Everyone

This is my third day on apidexim. The first two days I only took one pill in the morning to give my body an adjustment period. They made me slightly nauseas and shakey but nothing too bad...it seems to be subsiding. I was really looking forward to the apidexim giving me an energy boost like many claim, but i see no change. Also, instead of curbing my appetite i feel it makes me HUNGRIER. I'm still optimistic and try to ignore my stomach. I'm nervous this means its not going to work for me but I'm not going to knock it just yet.

Can anyone give me insight into their diet plans? I'm trying to eat healthier: fruits, veggies, lean meats, and smaller portions. I've also been drinking lots of water. I don't know if my portions are small enough. I know calories add up fast and I always try to look at the calories per foods but couldn't tell you my daily intake.

Lastly, since ive been home from college Ive been going to the gym at least 6 times a week and workout for over an hour. I feel like I'm at a standstill though and don't know if its because i do the same thing every day. I do 35 mins on the elliptical and 45 mins on the arc trainer. Should I go on a different machine? Also, does anyone know how accurate the number of calories you burn from the machines are?

    here is my typical day:
take first pill with a bottle of water....about 45 minutes later i will have a banana or some sort of fruit for breakfast.
i take the second pill around 1pm and about 40-45 minutes later i will have a small salad with just lettuce, tomatoes and small pieces of grilled chicken with low fat balsamic dressing.
i will snack throughout the day in between by eating a few grapes or almonds here and there. drinking water throughout the entire day.
when i am done at work i go home to cook dinner for the family but dinner for me usually consists of a protein shake lately as i am just flat out not hungry by 6pm.
once dinner is ready for the family i go and work out for 30-45 minutes...take a shower and relax.
i take a multivitamin before i go to bed.

now im not saying for you or anyone on here to eat as little as i am. i know it is completely unhealthy for me to be eating less than 500 calories a day most days that is why my fruit of choice is bananas and that is why i take a multivitamin because i know i am depriving myself of important nutrients the body needs.

here is what a normal diet should be if you are looking to lose weight "safely":

breakfast: small bowl of oatmeal or maybe even a bowl of special k corn flakes with low fat milk

snack: maybe an apple or another type of fruit

lunch: grilled chicken salads are my faves though i eat them very plain. i dont add in any cheese, cucumbers, onions, olives,or any other "extras"

afternoon snack: 100 calorie snackpacks are good and they do make some good ones if u got a sweet tooth.

dinner: steer clear from anything "battered, fried, smothered, cremed, thick pastas, coated in flour or anything else that sounds delicious but comes with a price tag of about a million calories lol. stick to grilled chicken (without the skin), fish stuff like that...keep your portions small.
here is a trick...instead of putting your food on them big dinner plates use the smaller salad plates instead. did you know that people tend to eat more based on the size of their dinner plates? yeah i didnt know that either lol. but its true if you think about it.
if you grab a smaller plate you will be forced to make smaller portions of your food choices. thus inadvertantly cutting calories.

also hun the eliptical machine i have does a pretty close accuration of the calories i burn. when i step on it i am able to enter my weight, the length of time i would like to work out and the intensity of the incline...it then bases my calories burned by that. i dont know if posting up other site addresses here is allowed but if you google "how many calories do i burn in a day" then aol has a great calculator you should try out. it breaks down everything from mopping the floor to washing the dishes.

Thanks, that was really helpful! Congrats on all your success so far! I think I'm going to try to further decrease my portions. I too love fruit and will snack on them or raw veggies throughout the day. I just started taking measurements instead of relying soley on the scale because I know personally my weight fluctuates throughout the day. Hopefully I will have some good results in the weeks to come. I'm optimistic =) I'm going on vacation down in SC towards the end of August!

I havent started the detoxufree yet... I was going to wait until next weekend and take it in conjunction with apidexim like directed... am I suppose to take it when starting apidexim or does it not matter? This is day four... should I start it soon and not wait?

you are supposed to start it on the first day and continue for 3 days taking it. i took it according to the directions on their website so i cant say whether or not to start it somewhere in the middle. i would suggest you start it as soon as possible and have lots of water on hand as for some reason i had such a dry throat during that time taking the detox pills.

and yes the scale is EVIL lol. as i said in an earlier post i take pictures of myself in a full length mirror every 2 weeks or so and compare them back with earlier pictures i've taken since dieting. pictures really do show you a great indication of how your diet is working, where you have lost weight, where you might like to concentrate your next area of working out in....
while the scale i still step on once a week or so as i drop weight and i approach the number i was when i got pregnant with my second child the weight is coming off from different places and my body does not look the same as it did prior to being pregnant so i just use the scale as a guide that i am still going in the right direction...i use and trust the pictures to be more accurate for me however.

    good luck

I love coming to this forum everyday.
Seeing peoples success motivates me and allows me to think that it could really work for me too.
I havent gotten my Apidexin yet, still waiting.
But I have started to try and walk everywhere I need to go, and cutting back on junk food and high fat foods.

Also, I need to buy a new scale. As mine is completely unreliable.
Can you guys advise me on what I should look for in a good scale?

I agree, its nice being able to talk to people going through the same thing you are. I've never taken weightloss pills before so I was very nervous about it. Good luck to you I hope you get yours soon.

thanks simplynikki for all your help! I'm going to take the detox with my apidexin tomorrow. I hope I don't have any side effects with that one (besides weightloss =P)

the best scale i have came across is a weight watchers scales. it tells you your weight, bmi, % of body fat, pounds of body fat, water weight, and bone mass. it is awesome. it tells you if you are low, in the middle, or high in any of these.(U enter you height, age and sex) its a great scale about 50 bucks. but it is wroth it.

Hello everyone. I decided to stick w/ Apidexin and see if the sick feelings go away by adjusting when I take the pills, with food, etc... I've started taking them first thing in the morning when I wake up and then I eat w/in 30 minutes. I'm not taking the 2nd pill though. I found when I do the full dosage I still get really sick. So, even though I may be slowing the process, I figure 1/2 is better than none So far I've lost 3.5 pounds since last Tuesday which for me is major. Being close to 40 my metabolism is shot at this point.

    Good luck everyone!!!!
