Post Weight Loss Buddy

Hi I'm new to here! My name is Anna and I'm 21 years old from Chicago. I've been struggling with my weight for a while now. A couple of years ago I was 157 and 5'2, I started a diet and it worked! I got down to 126 and kept it off for a year! It felt great, now with so much stress in my life, work, school, boyfriend etc. I gained pretty much of it all back! I try and start diets but they only last about 3 days, I cannot get back on track! I feel so trapped and helpless. I know it's bad when I can barely fit in my clothes and when I do have somewhere to go it takes me about two hours just changing in and out of outfits. I feel unhealty and I just hate the way it feels. I found what also makes it hard is that I don't have any one that is going through the same situation. All of my friends are pretty much skinny I thought if maybe I could find a friend on here it would be great to give each other motivation and support, telling each other what we ate, what exercises we did, new great recipes and keeping track of weight loss! If anyone is interested let me know!

Anna

I recommend attending Weight Watchers with a friend. It really is a great program as long as you are honest about it (don't lie to yourself). Also go walking or running. In the morning and before bed, do some stretches and crunches.

I would totally recommend Weight Watchers. Last year I lost 30 lbs in 3 months and have pretty much kept it off. I want to get back on it but can't seem to find the willpower here lately. I like hitting the gym,too... makes me feel so much better. If you decide to go Weigh Watchers and want a buddy, let me know

Default I would LOVE to be your buddy

Dear Palmtrees,
I am in almost exactly the same situation, and I would be absolutely thrilled to join you in this (epic) journey. I am 20 from Austin, Texas where I'm going to college. I'm 5' 7'' and 156lbs. I've been as low as 135 in the past, but with stress and work and classes and boys...things start to deteriorate pretty quickly.

If you are still interested--I see it's been about a month since your post--we could each blog about eating habits/exercise and be each-other's support group! I really need someone to hold me accountable.

Anyway, get back to me if you're still interested!

And good luck even if you're not!
