Default Give us feedback please!

Anthos and I were talking tonight and we would like some feedback from our members. There is a vB upgrade that we can purchase, however, the only thing we would LOSE if we don't purchase it would be blogs. The forums could still be upgraded but there would be no blogs supported in that upgrade. Do we need blogs? Do we use them at all??? That's the first question. If we want them, Anthos will decided which upgrade to go with.

In addition to that, they want to know what you guys like and dislike about WH right now. What would you like to see here? But aside from that, give us some feedback!

I've never posted blogs.but I only speak for myself. I don't know what everyone elses thoughts are on blogs.

Other than that....I love WH! Its so helpful and fun.I've met some amazing people and I meet new ones everyday.I can relate to a lot of them and they supported me when I wasn't acting myself when I first joined.I guess you could say this site and the wonderful people in it have made me become a more open and honest person.

The only thing I would change about WH is maybe being able to delete previous posts. Like sometimes ill accidentally post more than one thing and it kind of buggs me.but I am so addicted to this site otherwise!

I have been here 2 months and never even looked at the blogs.

Yes Being able to edit my post or delete it would be nice!

Alot of you regulars use the "Blogs" so I'm bringing this back up for your replies

We all know how wordy I can get.... and occasionally it's nice to be able to put it in a blog rather than a post. I do notice that a lot of them are more just a personal update sort of thing. Could that be incorporated into the profiles? Like a personal bulletin board or something like a blog located in the profile?

Blogs I could do without.

It would be nice to be able to edit posts though. It'd be tough though because I think it should only be allowed to a certain extent. I don't think we should be able to delete them, all the sudden you are missing a post on a thread and it may confuse the reader as to the rest of the posts in the thread... Does that make sense? But, again, I would like to edit a word here or there. So I doubt there is anyway to control that, probably an all or nothing kind of thing.

I don't read most of the blogs but I find WildChild's interesting. Maybe there could be a 'blog forum' where everyone can start their own personal thread. Just an idea.

Editing posts would be great. Some other forums let you edit stuff within five minutes of posting it in case you need to correct your spelling or add some thoughts.

That's a thought... I like that idea, because it is usually within those 5 minutes that I want to edit. For some reason, reading what I wrote before I post never works for me.

Im a blogger but I wouldnt mind the trade off - If we were able to edit posts on threads, I wouldnt mind losing the blog feature...I agree with LanaBanana about not being allowed to delete posts within threads because it would be way too confusing as this is, after all, more of an information source for many. And Tex's idea about being able edit only within 5 minutes of posting is fab...

Same here. Sometimes I'll read something of mine AFTER I posted it and wonder 'Dude, how did you ever pass first grade spelling?!'
