I have deleted your post in this instance.

However, please be careful about what you write, before pressing the post quick reply button..

It is not our intention to commence deleting posts as a member has changed their mind, or else we will be here, forever, purely doing that.

Not happening. I'm surprised CW agreed to delete one. We don't usually do so. You will have to contact Little or CW with a compelling reason, such as personal safety, to get an entiere thread deleted.

Wow, I didn't even ask for the entire thread to be deleted, just the 3rd page, simply because I thought it wasn't adding anything to the discussion, and they are all my posts in any case. I thought the three posts I made on that page were actually taking away from the point of the thread since I hoped for more people to feel free posting rather than focusing the thread around my personal feelings, so i thought it would be best if they were deleted.

    Cocoa,

Thank you for your concern.. May I suggest that you therefore, make your point clearer on that thread, by making another post...

Whilst they are your posts, this Forum works on exactly that, members and post counts..therefore they can not be deleted...

Off course, there are instances where a member needs a hand in editing as an example their SO reading their thread/posts...in that instance, we can close the thread...

I am happy to close the thread for you, if you feel it is wasted, however, as no one is replying, it basically is sitting in the back anyway of the threads.

Lastly, any issues that you feel you have on this site, please direct them to me via a Private Message, you are a VIP member now, and therefore, can do so.. This enables me to discuss any concerns with you privately and deal with them appropriately...

For all new members, that may read this thread, please take 5 minutes to read our FAQ rules...

Please be wary that the Moderators on this Forum have a responsibilty and a difficult job as it is, keeping this site clean and free from spammers, and trolls...

Please be careful what you type before pressing the send button, we have strick guidelines to adhere to.

Perhaps things would be a little clearer if we make it clear that all the moderators, including our dear head mod CW and our admin, Little, are volunteers. We take our personal time to keep this site a clean and safe place to spend time. In general we enjoy doing this but we haven't the time to be continually removing and/or changing or modifying posts, pages or threads. Doing this sort of thing can create all sorts of confusion for readers as well.

Unless there are extreme extenuating circumstances, once you've hit send and the 5 min self edit time has passed, we all live with what has been posted.
