Thread: Curious.

Am very sorry if this sounds so negative, and neither do I wish it to appear that I am in any way running this forum down, but I am very curious if not bewildered to know why members here do not or cannot be bothered to say Hi/hello and welcome to new members.

I have now been a member here for quite a few days and have noticed that I have managed to receive just two welcome messages (gratefully received) which I must admit I find a little surprising considering the membership here, however as some consolation I see that I am not alone as those before me and the few after me have received just about the same number.

I do wonder whether this inspires new members to contribute regularly to the forum, or if they are perhaps like me and think, well if these established members can't bring themselves to send a message of greeting, then is it worth my while even being here.

Again I apologise if I have offended or upset anyone in posting this, and dare I say I will not be holding my breath to seeing any posts of comments relating to this either.

And welcome to the forum, a lot of regulars here retrieve posts from our "whats new" section and posts in this category are only there for a certain time frame. Unless members specifically go to the welcome forum it is hard to sometimes see where new posts are.

Dont be discouraged if you dont get many replies after a short period. A lot of our members only log in once a week maybe even once a month.

Give it some time and if you have any questions feel free to message any mod
