    Default New Threads...

It would be nice if I could click on a link (don't know if that's the right term or not) labeled "New Threads" and only get New Threads (threads that are no more than two or three days old at most).

No offense, but I don't really care if someone replied or posted, therefore creating a "new post" to an old thread.

I read more than one post today that were in response to posts from years ago....2006, 2007 and 2008.

We have a New Post link/connection/button, so how about one for New Threads?

    Thanks for your consideration.

New posts will show you new threads, or go to the Forum section that you are interested in and you will see in bold, new threads for that section..

As for 2006, 2007,2008 threads, if the OP has not returned and it was personal, the thread gets closed once noted, if it is in the lounge, then our members found it interesting ....

No offense....perhaps some people also don't like reading subjects they are not interested in either, in which case, they don't click on those, nor get peeved over them..

    Thank you for your query.

Yes, but since there is no "New Threads" link, "New Posts" show all posts that are new whether the thread is new or years old.

It would just be nice to be able to "cut to the chase" and only see all "New Threads" without having to go through each section.

People may not like sorting through all the new posts when all they really want to see is new threads.

    Just a thought.

You can look at the date, on the outside of the post before clicking into it.. and see the date the thread was originated on and not click into ones created longer ago than you care to read.

Just click on new posts... then as you read the titles glance the date it was created listed right under the title and only click into ones created today if you only want to see ones created today.

I wish you luck We have never had that function, either, with the old or new version, simply all new posts, including threads..

As a Moderator, I go to each individual section and view, all new posts & threads, to Moderate and reply naturally if I can...I am sure you are not interested in a variety of Forum sections here,Seeker, so I can only suggest again, that you go to the sections your interestred in....

If Skywalker can activate it, he will, having read your request, being Christmas, that may be a while....I'm pretty sure this question was asked before though without successful results, V-Bulletin can only do so much...

    HD - Thank you.

No problem, it was just a request, nothing more. I realize that this site probably gets hundreds even thousands of them on a regular basis and I'm sure none of mine are new.

As I said in my original post that created this thread, Thank you for your consideration.
