About LinkBacksI have disabled the chatbox to see if it could be the problem with the site taking a while to load at times. I have also contacted the hosting company and they are going to monitor the server to see if they can find the problem.

Thank you. It's been very frustrating. Earlier today I wrote a reply, hit the post button and I brushed my teeth, changed the sheets on my bed, got a glass of water, used the bathroom and it still hadn't posted. I finally gave up and shut down the browser. I assumed it was lost but logging on now I see that it posted twice???

WC, The chatbox has been down for at least a week, if not more, so more than likely that has caused problems as it refused to load, therefore the site, too
Skywalker answered my email late this morning, sent early this morning so see how you go tomorrow, I notice alot are posted twice hopefully this will stop that as well.
Thank you Skywalker for the prompt attention again, appreciated.

I never found the CB disabled, just had to hit the refresh to see it. It is a bit faster now, although I did just have time to brush my teeth and change clothes while waiting for something to post. I'm not sure its entirely resolved but it certainly is better.

It's not helping. The site is extremely slow right now and very frustrating. Taking ages to post a reply.

WC, sorry, I am saying that the chat box was always refreshing and it may be the reason why the site goes down and is slow, it's stopping the functioning ....therefore Skywalker has disabled it, it no longer exists.

It has gotten much better but still seems to be freezing up at times. A lot more responsive than it was though.
