Reputation
I want to give out reputation points, but I can't. I keep getting the 'Please spread some reputation around before giving to ..... again' message. I tried to give rep to others, so that I could go back and give rep to the person I wanted to give it to, but I got the same message every time.

I've come across that too... I'm not sure how much you have to "spread it around" in order to get back to the same person, but it would be nice to know. I do actually give quite a few out, but when you can't give it to multiple good posts for the same person it does become a pain.
We were working on a new rep system, but it didn't really go anywhere.

Can it not be changed by the moderators so that you can give out to the same person, but no more than twice/three times in a row, before you have to give out to somebody else at least once?

Well you can check how many you have under your "Settings" section. I think for each 30 rep points someone gets (or whatever number it is), they get another little green bar under your title.Originally Posted by sidneyalive
