    Default Searches for most posts

Is there any way to find out who has been posting the most in the last day, the last week, the last month or the last year? I know a search can be generated for a specific poster, but can one be generated that will come up with list of the most prolific posters in these time categories?

Funny as I asked Little the other day in Mod Talk to refresh my memory on where to locate that, as I have in the past when we re-commenced Poster of The Month..

Hate to tell you though JNS, CW and WC are always up the top

I don't think anyone other than Admins can access that information though...

Perhaps Little can help me locate it again and we can copy and paste it here I'll also go and have another look...

I looked, but never did find it :/ seems like a function that could be created, maybe somebody already has as an add-on for vBulletin forums?

I know that it was there before on the old V Bulletin, but the above appears to be all that can now be located as far as top posters go, there now is only a graph showing totality instead of names..

Maybe NickR can add something in as you suggest mam

jns, why are you interested in this? If there is a personal concern it would be better to PM about it.

Well, I was curious - nothing personal. I know all the current posters that post a lot, but there are probably obscure ones in the past that rarely come up today unless you do a search on a specific topic. Prolific posters tend to post on a lot of subjects and I would expect them to have good insights on a number of subjects. I will sometimes look at the last posts of a person before I answer to know their circumstances and insights. Also, when someone who has posted a lot seemingly falls off of the face of the earth, that leads to more curiosity (such as Colorado). In a little while, Pretzel may disappear from most poster's radar. Being able to find him based on how much he posted in some months may be a good thing.

Questions for both CW and WC, did you both sprint out of the blocks: were you both very prolific posters from the day you started? Or did you ramp up? Have there been any lulls in your posting? When you both came aboard, where there any other prolific posters?

Maybe I'm strange, but some times I like to look at things statistically.

Some posters you might want to look at, most of them were banned:
Kaylar - banned by the admin before me, had peculiar ideas about men and women's relationships, but a good read regardless
C - also banned, wrote on older women's sexuality
housewife - dropped off the radar, gave a great deal of sound advice
Whilhelm - banned, had a great deal to say against porn but not much else
alibaby - good advice on quite a few fronts, not sure where she went

You might also look at moderators who aren't around much (JubesInquest, patricias213.)
Something to think about is that WH was not the place you see here 4 years ago when I joined. Men were hardly tolerated and intellectual threads were scarce. Those who helped it become what it is now are, for the most part, still here. I used to be a much more prolific poster before becoming a moderator, then administrator. It's obvious that I am nowhere near WC & CW's league now Though I think they went through lulls after becoming mods, just as I did, except that they bounced back.

I always enjoyed Sinister Urge and Anonymouswhitewoman (a male).

I've been through a few lulls where I've backed off. Last summer I was working 100 hr weeks at times and had very little time to post.
