SUMMARY:Copper 7 IUD
DESCRIPTION:I had a Copper 7 IUD (made in Canada) put in\, in 1987. At the 
 time my doctor said I could keep it for the rest of my life. Before menopa
 use the doctor I saw told  ( in 1997)  me there was no such thing and I mu
 st be mistaken. Finally a doctor believed me and wants to take it out. Has
  anyone ever had this kind of experience. Comments and insights appreciate
 d. Should I have it removed and why? It has never bothered me.Thank you
