    • Most days I use large hot curlers for big, soft waves. Ive had long hair since childhood. Normally my hair is pretty straight if I don't style it at all. Occasionally I wear a high pony.

          • A braid-out.

It's when you braid it the night before and let out the braids the next day. My wife has very long, kinky hair. She does these intricate "wraps" with it that reminds me of blackberries. When she let's it out it's electric. Everyone notices. I like the wraps, but I wish she'd wear it out more. She doesn't like a lot of attention and people touching her hair. I don't like the touching either.

I totally understand getting weirded out with people touching your hair. I get compliments on my hair almost every day, at the grocery store, at work, even at my doctors office. Last time I went to my doctor, the nurse asked if she could touch my hair. It was kind of creepy, but to be polite, I hesitantly said, ok. Thankfully she never did.

                • With your hair so dark, you will have to use a hair color kit lighter than expected to get the color you are going for.

                      • I like to switch my hair up a lot so I will tell you the looks I do: Side part bangs on either right or left then straighten the rest.
