  • Swollen Acne

Certain zits are swollen and very sore. I am going to go ahead and blame Nuvaring at the moment. For a day I felt my face was clearing, and now it's making me cry every morning and night. It's awful. It hurts. It's ugly.

Any tips or tricks to rid it?

  • Once they start hurting it becomes problematic. They will linger on for a month or more and maybe even scar. If they really hurt, I say go to a dermatologist. He/she will give you a shot of cortisone on the pimple and it will heal in a day or two.

    • These are painful. You can take some small doses of cayenne pepper (get a good strain from a heatlh food store in bulk) throughout the day to help reduce inflammation.
