  • Natural remedies against acne

You would think that if researchers are able to decode the human genome, they should be able to eradicate acne. Well no! It is for you to cope with eruptions that continue to jeopardize your pride long after the angst of adolescence had calmed down. When a button rears its ugly little head black, white or red, you can rush to the pharmacy to buy an OTC product. Or, use a remedy directly out of the medicine cabinet of Mother Nature.

    Solutions of first resort
Creams and gels containing benzoyl peroxide are counter your first solution. They work by mildly irritating the skin, peeling and a cleansing pores. In addition, this substance kills bacteria that live in the pores, causing infection.
Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), including glycolic, strip the skin of its outer layer, helping to cleanse the pores and prevent clogging acid. Choose a cream, a lotion or a gel consisting of 8% glycolic acid.
Once a button appears, apply an ice cube wrapped in plastic wrap at least twice a day, every hour if possible, do not leave it more than five minutes each time. The cold reduces redness and relieves inflammation.
Take one or two aspirins. At the rate of one or two tablets of 325 mg 4 times daily, aspirin relieves inflammation and soothes rashes. (Do not take this medication regularly after you have talked to your doctor.)

    Alternative Treatments for acne
Three times a day, apply a drop of tea tree essence marks to prevent infection and speed healing. Researchers have found that this species was also effective against acne as a solution of benzoyl peroxide 5%.
To mitigate the eruptions that occur during menstruation, take one or two cups of chasteberry daily. It has been shown in studies that this plant contributes to regulate female hormones. However, it takes a few months before acting. Therefore, be patient and most importantly, do not take large amounts, because you could have the opposite effect.
Apply a few drops of vinegar or lemon juice on pimples. Both substances contain acids that help cleanse the pores.
Try this old folk remedy: Mix 1 teaspoon of nutmeg powder with 1 tablespoon of honey and apply this mixture on the button. Let stand 20 minutes, then wash. There is no scientific evidence to suggest that it is effective, but we do know that against honey has antiseptic properties.
Apply aloe gel. It was found in a study that the substance had cured 90% of the pores in five days.
Take zinc. Blood levels of zinc acne sufferers is generally low. Zinc supplements provide visible results in about a third of people who take it. However, as it takes high doses, or 200 to 600 mg per day, you will have to follow you by a doctor.

    Preventive measures
It is generally believed that if we could prevent the accumulation of dirt and oil, the pores would never be obstructed. In fact, excess cleaning pushes the sebaceous glands to increase oil production. Renounce cleaning granules, and the face cloth, which is abrasive and promotes bacterial multiplication, unless you change with every use. Preferably use disposable wipes.
Anti-blackhead solution: Dilute a teaspoon of Epsom salt and three drops of tincture of iodine in a half cup of water and bring to a boil. Dip a cotton swab in the solution and apply on blackheads.

  • Excessive sebum secretion by the sebaceous glands during the adolescence is the main reason for pimple eruptions. You could find different acne treatment available in the market but you can also treat those using natural remedies.

    • do you know where this can be found?

      • Acne is caused by sebum, an oily substance produced by the skin’s sebaceous glands. Sebum clogs pores, which attract bacteria and become inflamed. For some adults, breakouts are a result of hypersensitivity or overproduction of androgens (male hormones). But an imbalance in both male and female hormones (estrogen) can also cause breakouts.

          • Acne can be prevented by drinking plenty of water, eating citrus fruits, green leafy vegetables. One of the most important thing that can be done is to apply aloe vera gel that prevents acne and vanishes acne scars forever.

            • Lemon juice works best

              • I know honey works great to prevent acne. One of the most common cause of acne is bacteria forming in the skin due to dirt and pollution from the environment. Honey has a natural anti-bacterial property the helps in getting rid of bacteria which causes acne.
