  • How do I layer BOTH my anti-aging and anti-acne products??

    Hi everyone,

My anti-aging regimen consisted of cleansing my face, applying NCN vit C serum, oil of olay moisturizer and topped with burnout sensitive face SS. At night I cleansed my face, and applied Ponds anti-wrinkle with lactic acid.

I also recently started up on RA 0.025 cream, and I immediately got red, irritated, flaky skin. To combat this, I decided to try an organic raw shea butter to really moisturize those peelies. Well, I think I was applying the shea butter wrong or something, because I broke out like crazyyyy, and had to see my Derm who immediately said it was acne. The Derm prescribed clindamycin 1% lotion and Differin to help smooth out my complexion.

Now my problem is I don't know how to combine both my anti-aging products with my anti-acne products? The Dr said the clindamycin must go on my skin first after cleansing, and then I could apply my moisturizer/SS. However, now I don't know how I can still include the Vit C serum? Do I put it on after the clindamycin, but before the moisturizer?

I haven't used the C serum in a couple of days and now I feel my skin is dull. I am already depressed because of the extreme breakout I am now facing, and I feel that my skin is no longer as glowy as it used to be when I was using the C serum.

I'm feeling sad, and need reassurance and guidance for how to get my regimen back on track.

    Thanks for any help!

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
