  • Cellulite reduction

Has anyone had done fractional skin surfacing before? I was wanting to do this I am currently doing cardio exercises and controlling my diet and have gone from 183 to 165 in 2 1/2 months but I still have places around my thighs and butt that look bad with cellulite. All your valuable suggestions will be beneficial. Thank-you.

  • Hi Sadie,

Welcome to WHI. Please take a look at our Site Rules. You may not post outbound links here.

Congratulations on your weight loss. I have found that lower body fat = lower visibility of cellulite. But even at my thinnest, it seems to be in my genetic makeup to have some cellulite.

    • Can also be hormone related...
I've noticed some very fit, thin women at my gym have significant cellulite.
Also, read up on what cellulite is-what causes that dimpling appearance.

      • I think Ashlee T. has hit upon an important thought: maybe cellulite is genetic. I am not a medical expert, so I can't say for sure, but maybe I am right.
