    What type of schooling process is required to be a Radiologist Tech?

  • it really depends where you want to work, as in the country, state, etc... there are different requirements based on the region (and in some instances the hiring entity)

    Take a look at some open Radiology jobs/positions posted online in the area in which you'd like to work. The requirements should tell you what is required and from there you can determine where you need to go for schooling, or set up a meeting with a school counselor who can give you more insight in their programs


    • The first step in becoming a radiologist is to obtain a bachelor’s degree. During the final year of medical school, students should apply for a four-year diagnostic radiology residency through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). If you want to become radiologist then a board certification of radiology is required.
