  • I never get bored but it seems our kid needs to either have something scheduled or wants direction
    asks what's next a lot?

do I need to schedule every moment?

    • I'm not a parent Amy, but from what I have read lately about us, as adults, and mindful living, I would say no. There are some good articles about scheduling kids so much. I don't read those, as my focus is myself, but search it and you'll likely see some good articles from the medical community and the religious community, that I've skipped over in the past year or so.

      • thanks, kitty

did schedule activities for child to learn new skills as it's easier during summer when school is out
I don't like to over schedule during school year

        • apparently our kid is really enjoying summer and not bored at all

          guess I misinterpreted things
the asking what's next a lot is just to know what's going on, not a sign of boredom like I thought

          • I'm not a parent yet but I suppose that kids should be involved in different activities all the time. to my mind, it will help them to develop and perceive the world around them. best of luck
