heard on radio....what experts say you should know before marriage:

    1. he or she won't complete you....work on your own character
    2. you won't always feel in love......marriage is a commitment
    3. look to the person's relationships with their family as that's often how they'll be in a marriage
    4. know there will be conflict......it's how you deal with it

  • Hi Amy

I agree with what you have heard on the radio.

1 - That is so true. I pray to God every day. From my own experience you can only become a good wife if your relationship with God is good. God will reward you and provide you with strength and stability in your marriage. If you are not complete yourself, you cannot be there to fully support your husband.
2 - I experienced that with my fiancee. We have had so many hurdles on our way. Those are a test of commitment and love.
3 - Although I never met the family of my fiancee. I do know they have a good relationship because he speaks fondly of them. ThIs is reassuring to me because family is the most important thing in life.
4 - When in doubt about your partner, always look to yourself. Use every conflict as an opportunity to self-reflect and improve on yourself.

I think the list you provided should be consulted by every woman that is planning to get married.
