    Why Take Supplements Like Vitamins & Protein Powder???

    Hello Ladies.

    I've been on this forum for quite a while but never mustered up the courage to actually post anything (or even make an account for that matter). I'm one of those silent observer types

    I have a question for you all. Now I know there isn't going to be one golden answer here but I'm curious anyway.

    p.s. This was prompted by my need to lose weight (and i understand that this may not be your reason to take supplements).

    Why do you all take nutritional supplements? Like really why?

    I'll start:

    What? I will be purchasing protein powder for the first time this weekend to aid in my weight loss journey

    Why? Because I want to be slimmer

    Why? Because I want more energy and want to fit into my older outfits

    Why? Because it will make me feel better about myself


    I played this game with a few of my friends and we all learned that no one really asks themselves "Why?, Why?, Why?" It's much more insightful and helps you learn about yourself when you ask "Why?" 3 to 5 times.

    LET's GO!

    I take a one a day multi vitamin multi mineral without iron pill to make sure my body is getting the vitamins and minerals it needs because I feel that my diet does not always do that. It is something my mother started, maybe even before I was born. There have been no negative effects. The cost is low.
    I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

      I don't take supplements, but I can understand why many people do. They are good for the body and very effective.

      Good luck with the weight loss, SamFoxx. I also watch what I eat: I don't want to be the size of a house. Do be aware, though, that you still need proper food. I know that's obvious, but definitely take a balanced approach.
