Memoirs of a Geisha sucked compared to the book. Trust me!

Mine are also in no particular order.

    1. A Beautiful Mind
    2. Good Will Hunting
    3. Girl Interrupted
    4. Stepmom
    5. Fracture / K Pax (Can't decide)

I could go on and on.

            • Oh - Dazed and Confused and Napoleon Dynamite! ... Those are good ones! LOL - Dazed and Confused was our senior class motto in HS. LOL - Unfortunately, that just about described everyone perfectly.

Oh man. I could watch that movie every single day. Actually I went through a phase where I actually did. It got me through many a night when I was living alone, haha. My boyfriend teases me because there's no point to the movie, but I think that's the beauty of it! So good. Plus Shawn Andrews is HOOOTT!

                • My hubby does not like that movie at all. But me and his best friend quote it all the time, so he can't get away from it. Shawn Andrews is hot too! I thought Jason London was good looking too, but only in that movie and Out Cold, don't really care for him otherwise.

                  • Some people just can't get into it. Blows my mind. I loooove Jason London too...he looked awesome in that. He still looks pretty good actually, for being almost 40. And have you seen Shawn lately? Mmmm... ha.

I agree. I was in tears before that one ended. (especially since I remember my grandparents talking about how it was in Kyoto during those times). I did like the book better but really enjoyed the film (the actress was ok but would have been better had she actually been Japanese and not Chinese, IMO)

                          • I'm not one to usually compare a movie and a book (how can you possible get everything in all those pages on the screen in 2 hours? ) Usually I just take them as being somewhat separate though this book is colorful and so rich and elegant that's it's a must read.
