  • Lulu.com

Is an online bookshop, where everyone self publishes their work. If you're interested, then Google it.

As I always say, this is NOT spam: I just think Lulu.com is a great platform for getting work published. Plus, there's no fee: for either the printing process or the submission. However, you do need advanced computer skills. That is the only downside. If someone you know wanted to publish their work - but they don't have advanced computer skills - then you can format, upload, etc their work for them. The great thing is that they don't print say 100 copies and hope they sell: they only print on order. This reduces warehouse stock and means the company can publish 1000's and 1000's of work. Plus, you can choose to publish as many books as you wish.

I know the moderators will read this, but PLEASE don't delete this thread!

  • I hope any aspiring writer has read this post! Having your work in print would be a real achievement.

What are your thoughts on Lulu.com? Is it a service you'd use? Would you just purchase books from them? Or would you publish your own work with them?

I look forward to reading your opinions!
