  • Frequent UTI'S HELP!!

    Uti Uti Uti!

I am so sick of that word. I have had problems with UTI's since i was 17 years old. I am now 20 years old a dental student and i have no idea how i am going to get through school because of how frequent and how inconvenient they are. In the past year i would go every 2-3 weeks without a Uti. I have gone to specialists from obgyn, urologist, and the only response i have gotten is 1. you get them around your period so your pH levels are abnormal, and there is nothing wrong with you it is just your anatomy. I dont know what to do anymore.. it is interrupting in my life and its making it hard to do anything anymore.

    Please what do i do?
    Any recommendations??

  • I have the exact same problem.. that is definetly not the only reason... all the doctors i have gone to have said that, unfortunatly, women get them more frequently, often times to do with sexual activity. pee after sex, as well as before, dont hold your pee in.. drink frequently, but not too frequently, dont drink too much caffiene because it irrirates your bladder... i recently had an app with an urologist and he have me a lose dose antibiotic to take before or after sex, and im happy to say that i've been doing so for almost two month and no UTI's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... ask your doctor about 'macrobid'. I really hope u find a solution that works, because I KNOW how ****ty frequent uti's are.. tehy really do ruin your life

    hope that helps

I started getting them when I was 17 too so I know how you feel. 4 Urologists, countless antibiotics, and a number of invasive procedures later and finally after 6 years I found relief in the form of a simple feminine wash, in my case summer's eve sensitive skin. In March I began using it and I have been UTI free since then!! That to me is a miracle since I was getting them monthly and sometimes three times a month. I figured once my life got stressful with the start of school I would get them again, but I haven't! I hope this works for you like it did for me.
