  • Itchy at night!

Hello, for the past few days I have had issues of itchy legs at night, and sometimes throughout the day. It is mostly on my thighs throughout the day and lower leg at night. It is worse when I am in the bath, and in bed.

    AND

I have changed the bed sheets, and it is still happening.
    I haven't changed washing powder.
    I wash my clothes often.
It hasn't been hot recently, or humid.
There are no marks of a rash or anything bothering my skin.
I have been eating much more recently, and my diet has been good (I am a recovering anorexic). I have upped my calories by around 700-1,000 a day, to 2,000+. Sometimes more.

Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!

  • Have you considered you may have a food allergy? Maybe gluten intolerance. It causes an increase in histamines in your body which can cause itchiness and a whole host of other symptoms. Heat, such as heat from a bath, makes it worse. Do some research on it. Try cutting it out or you diet for a few weeks and see if it makes any difference.
