  • Huge itchy lumps

    Hi all,

I get these absolutely big itchy lumps all over my thighs, hands and most recently my neck, at random times of the day. Most of the time its after I shower but other times it appears while I'm at work or even late in the night while watching tv. It starts of with a few really small ones but ultimately all combine and then after a couple min they expand and look like a map of a country or something I doubt its caused through food because they appear even when I don't eat anything.

  • It could have to do with your Shampoo or Shower Gel/ Soap, or even your Laundry Soap.

Try switching to a Perfume Free laundry Powder/ liquid, like Dreft , the kind they use for New Born babies clothes . Maybe try Neutrogena products that are Chemical and Perfume Free or Dove , that claims to be PH balanced .

It could also be a Mixture of things . Your Diet can also make a difference. Maybe take out Gluten or Wheat for a week . Not everyone has an Instant Reaction to allergies, sometimes it takes awhile for the body to say " I don't like this " and it will react by rashes .

Understand that itching and Rashes are your Body telling you something is Not Right !! So the best thing is to try and Correct it. If you try a few things and it doesn't go away, then see a Dermatologist . They may be able to help with tests and even Prescriptions.
    Good Luck

    • It may be an allergic reaction to your soap. Try cetaphil cleanser. It's scentless and it cleans and softens your skin.
