  • I'm sorry no one responded to your post sooner. I suffer from allergies ALL YEAR long. I take Zyrtec (generic) 10 mg every day. My doctor told me it was safe to take every day, even if you happen to be pregnant. You can also try to take it every other day, which I do try to do, but mostly I take it daily. When the spring comes, usually that is the worst time of year for me (allergy-wise) so on top of the Zyrtec I also take Benedryl on the days I am really suffering. For the sneezing, itchy nose I take Nasonex. The best thing for you to do is see an Allergy Doctor as they can give you best advice on what to take. Good luck!

    • Honestly the best way to take care of allergies is through allergy shots, they are expensive though and a lot of insurance companies don't pay for them.
