  • Almost two years without a period

    Hello all
Back in May of 2010 i found out i was pregnant but had lost the baby towards the end of June. My doctor said there was so clear way of telling how far along i was but he knew my stress level was mostly from my abusive relationship with my boyfriend at the time. So he had thought that was one of the main reasons.
moving forward into Oct i had found out i was pregnant again and was about 7 weeks along which would put me getting pregnant end of Aug.I had a healty pregnancy and had my baby boy at 41 weeks.
(sorry about all the back ground info just not sure if its needed or not)
After leaving the hospital with my son i had only 7 days of bleading. I did not want birth control because i did not believe it was something i needed due to the fact i didnt plan on having sex. It wasnt unyil my son was 14 months old that i had a period which was a relief because my doctor wanted to give me a pill that would induce my periods that i really didnt want to take. That "period" only last three ish days and since i havnt had another and he will be two in june.

Now my question is what do i do or what kindof questions should i ask. All my doctor wAnt to do is give me birth control. I dont really believe its something that i need i feel that there are other problems. One doctor said i needed to lose weight and since then i have lost 40 pounds so thats not really thd issue. I get alot of walking in each day too!!!!!!!

  • should follow doctor instruction even you don't want birth control..you can ask other option have without controlling birth...

    • First of all , You need to see the Proper kind of Dr.
An OB`GYN is best but you may need a Specialist .

The Pill is not always the Best Answer especially for regulating the Period.
You may need some tests done, remember our bodies need certain Hormones to work " Properly ". Start messing with them and all kinds of things can happen.

If No Pain , I wouldn't worry too much about a Missed period or even a Dozen.
You did not mention age, but some women go through Early Menopause, in their 30's .
But that is something to be determined by the Professionals .

There are other HRT's ( Hormonal Replacement Therapy )
besides the Birth Control Pill , Get Tests done and Stay Healthy ..
