  • Unexplained breast growth in mid-30's

    Hi everyone,
I have had difficulty getting much information on this topic, so I thought I'd try to reach out and see if any other women have had this happen to them. I am 36 years old, and over the past couple years, my breast size has gone from a 32C to a 32DD without weight gain or pregnancy. This seems unusual to me since I always thought that this type of growth would definitely be over in one's 30's. My main concern and worry is that this might be a sign of some health problem. I will be seeing my doctor soon, but in the mean time, I would like to hear from other women that this has happened to. It would give me some peace of mind if I learned that this sometimes happens as a normal thing without the presence of disease.

Thank you for reading, and I look forward to your responses.

  • I think you are doing the right thing in going to a doctor. Breast growth occurs during pregnancy due to hormones. Maybe your body is producing more hormones that cause breast growth.
