  • What to expect after cervix cryotherapy?

I had the procedure yesterday and as the doctor indicted I have a watery discharge, but I also noticed a foul odor which I didn't have before. Is it normal or should I worry?
Also during the therapy my gynecologist suspected bacterial vaginosis, even though I didn't experience any symptoms. She prescribed me Metronidazole , but she didn't even take the a sample of my discharge for examination. I didn't know what she is prescribing me, but now after reading about it I am in doubt if I should use such strong antibiotics. I think she prescribed it because cryotherapy may lead to infections and she gave it to me as a precaution. What would you advice? use it or not? ( Its o.75% vaginally).
