  • Suffering for months!! Yeast or BV??

Hi there, so all this started back around December, not ever did I think things would get this bad or go this long. I started by going and seeing my doctor thinking I had a yeast infection to which he gave me Fluconazole 150mg. It seemed to work but a couple weeks later it came back. I went back to see him a few times after this, he did some tests and claimed it was a yeast infection and just kept giving me more Floconazole on the guidance of the specialist who also worked there. I eventually sat down with this so called specialist where he promptly told me "some women have these symptoms and never go away so deal with it."

I was furious and started seeing another doctor that did another test and just gave me more Fluconazole even though I told her it didn't work. The last few times hadn't worked and just made things worse. She referred me to a gyno and in the meantime I decided to take things into my own hands.

Throughout the course of that I feel like I've tried everything. I started out simply with garlic and apple cider vinegar (drinking it and taking baths). That didn't do too much so I started taking the Wild Rose Cand-Aid. The first time I took it, it seemed to work but then I got my period and after I was back at square one. Each time I think it's gone whatever this is just comes back worse!! I'm also on vitamins to help my immune system. I just finished my second round of Cand-Aid and nothing, zip. I take lots of acidophilus both in pill form and I'm now drinking that Bio-K stuff. Through my research I saw sometimes a ph imbalance can cause issues so I tried Rephresh and holy, I think that made things worse! The day after I tried it (two days ago) I was in so much pain and still am. I'm now just starting Gy-na-tren, seen lots of positive stuff on it and feel it is my last resort. That is until my appt with the gyno finally comes around.

I've also read that if your high in estrogen that can feed the yeast as well. I have had an ovary removed and am on the pill, anyone think this could be a reason? I'm not sure what to think. I know it's not an STD but I know it's either a yeast infection (most likely a resistant strain) or BV.

I'm not sure what to do and feel kinda alone, the doctors suck! Any advice is greatly appreciated
