  • plycystic Ovarian Diease + Merina I.u.d

I'll try to make this as short as possible. I've had my period since near the end of grade 6 and since day 1 ; i've always had heavy periods , all the doctor ever suggested was birth control. Birth control has always been abusive towards me ( ie : massive weight gain ). Fast forwarding down the road a few yrs later they found out I had Von willebrands , then said I have hashimoto's diease and now saying I have plycystic Ovarian Diease. I don't get to see the specialist until tuesday. But what i want to know is in your opinion ladies what would be the better option? Getting the ovarys removed fully? or getting the Merina? I've googled the Merina I couldnt find one person that could say anything decent about the Merina. I'm very paraniod because having the bleeding issue and having horrible luck altogether. Could fixing my blood sugar fix the crappy periods? or do I really have to get something serious done? I dont want to endure the rest of 2013 in a hospital. I'm stuck to my bed as is with my period lasting between 8 days til 6 months depending on my situation ( if i travel or not? if i travel far? within 2 days id get a period ) help would greatly appreciated. My doctors seem to all fear lawsuits none of them give a direct suggestion. Fingers are getting pointed all over the place. thats why i'm hopeing that someone on here could give me some insites from a woman's prespective.
