  • Not a yeast infection, STD, or BV so what is it??

I'm at the end of my rope. I just started a new relationship three months ago with an amazing man and I can't be intimate with him because ever since we started dating I've had problems with my vagina.

We had sex a couple times, both protected and unprotected after about two weeks of dating. At first I thought I had a yeast infection, then I thought I had BV. I've been swabbed so many times and been on diflucan several times as well as Flagyl and Canesten and nothing worked. I had blood work done to make sure I wasn't diabetic. I've been tested for STDs. Everything has come back clear but I still have this weird discharge that is white and curd/creamy like with no odour, I'm almost always itchy/irritated. And I don't know if it's connected or not but I've also got urinary frequency/urgency.

The latest treatment my family doctor doctor put me on is boric acid vaginal suppositories once a day for 14 days. I'm about 7 days in and at first I thought they were working but now I think it's not anymore because I'm getting uncomfortable again.

I've read so much stuff online now my head is spinning as to what this could be or how to treat it. I've read posts from people who seem to have struggled for years trying to find an answer. Does anyone have any insight as to what this could possibly be? I have a follow up appointment with my family doctor on October 2 and a gyno appointment on October 18 and I want to be able to have suggestions of things for them to test/examine me for because I don't know how much longer I can go without having answers and feeling better.

This is has taken such a toll on me mentally and emotionally and I'm scared it's going to ruin my new relationship because we haven't been able to be intimate with each other in a month and a half.

    Someone please help me.

Ask your doctor about using gentian violet (search for crystal violet in Wikipedia). It is still listed by the World Health Organization for topical use. It will stain skin and clothes.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
