    My name is Richard. I work 7-9 hrs a day. Since 1 week I am feeling tired and drowsy is office hrs. I normally take 4-7 hrs sleep a day then I can't understand that what is the reason behind this?

    A lot has to do in my opinion, with eating patterns as well as sleeping patterns.

    Our body needs fuel in order to get through a day. Also, water and if you are in an office, doing long hours, you need to stretch, get up and walk, you can't sit behind a computer for that long and not feel tired, exhausted. Your body strains.

    Do you get up every 1/2 hr and stretch? If not start it.

    Do you eat breakfast? If not start it.

    Do you drink 1 or 2 litres of water a day? Eat properly for lunch?

    As for sleep, 7 hours in my opinion is preferable. 4 isn't enough if you are working 9.
