From what I have read, it is true. A lot of people are blowing the risks associated with Covid-19 vaccines way out of proportion, IMO.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

    • The risk of blood clots with birth control definitely exists, and I've read the same (that the risks of getting one from birth control is higher than the vaccine) but I believe the overall risk is still really low.

      • I haven't read any documentation on inflammation related to birth control pills. The risk of blood clots is well documented especially among smokers or obese patients using birth control pills. This is why it's typically not prescribed if you have those factors.
I think it's too early to have exceptionally reliable data on the Covid vaccine.

        • Birth control pills do indeed have an anti-inflammatory effect. In fact, birth control helps to balance hormones in women and makes the body more efficient. This helps to decrease pain and inflammation in the body. In addition, birth control also helps women to regulate their periods and to also decrease menstrual flow.

          • Reply to Underwear or not?

I do — but I'm so prone to UTIs (thanks, menopause!) that I'm afraid not to. I USED to skip underwear years ago, but it's been a LONG time.
