So I started using the birth patch about 3 weeks ago now. I didn’t put the first one on after a week and a half of my period. I informed myself that if you don’t start right after it you should wait like 7days for it to start working. I ended up waiting more before I had (protected) sex. Today I change to the 3rd patch, but my period is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I was wondering if because now I am using it that means my period will be delayed a week or will it still come?

Will birth patch change my period dates?

Years ago, I tried the patch for different reasons, and my doctor told me that I might have some bleeding or spotting for the first six months if I used it to skip my period. The first few months are definitely wonky. There's nothing dangerous about using the patch to stop or skip your period, but if you're worried about pregnancy, that's a whole different thing. I would ask your doctor just to be on the safe side. Sorry, I wish I had more of a concrete answer!

Alison H. I agree with the question you raised! Does tent sex count!? The only time I had sex outside was on a camping trip (technically inside) a tent....

Reply to Underwear or not?
I do — but I'm so prone to UTIs (thanks, menopause!) that I'm afraid not to. I USED to skip underwear years ago, but it's been a LONG time.
