  • 7 days late on my period but I don’t think I’m pregnant?

Hi, so I’m 20 and I just want a bit of advice really! The last time I had sexual intercourse was the start of January & I took the morning after pill afterwards. I have had a normal period every month when I was supposed to (date wise) but this month I haven’t came on and I’m currently 7 days late? As I’ve had a normal period for the past 3 months and took the morning after pill I’m just wondering what the chances are that I could be pregnant? I really don’t think I am, but now I’m stressing over what could be wrong with my body!! (P.S I’m booking a doctors appointment if it doesnt show by the end of the week) Thank you guys x

  • It sounds like you did what you could to prevent pregnancy with the morning after pill and having normal periods pretty well eliminates the possibility of being pregnant. You could use a home pregnancy test kit to help confirm this and give you more peace of mind. Irregular periods are not uncommon so that may be the reason for being late.
