  • 6 weeks update

Hello everyone! Here’s my 6 weeks update!

It’ll be short as I do not want to spoil anything, So, ok, previously my hcg levels showed a very small number which should’ve been considered as an indicator for a single pregnancy! And yeah, I was receiving all of the kind and positive feedback from all of you with wishes for twin pregnancy and such but I was not that optimistic, I was just praying for 1 embryo to stick and give me what I want the most – pregnancy and a baby!

Now I can say that God hears all of our prayers and I am pregnant with 1 baby, 1 embryo has stuck and is developing inside of me!

I am still taking all of my post-stimulation medications and it does not bother me that much now as it was before!

To make everything clear – I had 6 weeks scan on the 30 of May, so you do not get confused by days

    Wish me luck I guess

    xxx

Hi! I am doing pretty good! I was experiencing some brown spotting at the beginning of the pregnancy right after the ET, but for now things definitely got better and I feel optimistic, I guess! Now I am “patiently” waiting for 12 weeks scan.
Thank you so much for asking about how I am doing! Means a lot, honestly!

              Right?

I'm glad to hear things have gotten better. I know that first trimester is SO nerve wrecking and touchy. I do think the brown spotting is quite common. So long as it doesn't become heavy red spotting with pain. Do you have a fetal Doppler? I think if I would want one just so I could ease my mind at times.

I'm glad to hear that everything is going fine. Best wishes.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
                ...
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, Virginia

Yeah, you are totally right, it was not only 2 week wait when my emotions were all over the place but it seems it will continue up to the point when I have already delivered my baby! I am totally nervous although I am trying really hard to keep calm haha but yeah it is really hard.
well, isn't it dangerous though? I have heard that using fetal doppler isn't recommended by specialists at all and it appears that there are tons of articles critiquing its usage. I do not know honestly... don't know though..

I really wish to not have to separate our ways with biotexcom as I feel insanely comfortable having someone near me, always ready to give a piece of advice and to help me out, it scares me a lot, this thought that I am not going to be that confident once I have my contract expired..
My manager on the other hand continues being really supportive and is happy to know that I am doing fine, she keeps reminding me essential things such as taking medications and such and it feels like we've became good friends, but I know that it is not true, however, I quite enjoy our small talks
and in 3 weeks 2nd trimester commences and the new stage of my life too.
                      PS how are you btw?

Are they? I have never heard that about fetal dopplers. Interesting.

I'm pretty fine, thank you, I'm 21 weeks pregnant. Feeling really great, my babies are fine, healthy and happy as well. a few days ago we did the ultrasound, it showed I will have 2 sons, I'm over the moon.
don't worry about that, I was like you, I thought I wouldn't be so confident leaving this clinic. frankly, I was wrong, of course biotex gave us a huge chance to move on, it gave me two little miracles, and I'm grateful to all people work there.
on contrary, after contract expired i understood it's time to incur all liabilities concerning my pregnancy. I continue to take all vit, lead a healthy life style, do all ultrasound checks. I have already started decoration of babies' room, we bought some babies' stuff, painted walls, it seems like we are ready our babies will arrive.

I can be wrong, as I do not know that much about them, but the first article that I googled last week was "Why FD are actually dangerous?" something of that sort... so I am kind of skeptical
