Hi everybody. I am Lana. I am fighting with infertility for a long time. After a long thinking I decided to try with surrogacy. I want to know all about it. My family is divided. Some of them are with me 100% and the others are not so sure that I made a good decision. I am sure that this is a good decision but I want to know all about the procedure before I try.

  • Hi Lana! This is your decision and only you can decide. Your family can tell you your opinion but at the end you have to make a decision. First, there are different types of surrogacy. The procedure depends on what type you choose. It also depends of the law of the country you go to. Medical procedure is that the eggs are fertilized in the laboratory to create an embryo, which will be transferred to the surrogate. The surrogate will undergo fertility treatments prior to the embryo transfer and during the pregnancy.

      • Because there is so many options and types of surrogacy maybe it's best to choose first where you will go. Then you can consult with them what is the procedure. I heard about clinic in Ukraine. I believe you will find something about them. Seems to me they are a good choice. Either way, You can start with that and see what to do.

        • You probably think about BioTexCom. I was reading about them. I have found only the good comments. You are right, I will contact them and ask them to tell me all details. It would be easier to make a decision if I talk with specialist.

          • Why surrogacy might become necessary?
The group of patients for which surrogacy is often necessary are heterosexual or straight couples which find themselves in one of the following situations:
            Absence of the uterus
            Uterine malformations or alterations
Diseases and conditions preventing women from becoming pregnant because the baby’s and mother’s health would be at risk
            Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL)
            Repeated IVF failure (RIF)
Also, single women and lesbian couples suffering from one of the above mentioned issues could become mothers thanks to surrogacy.
Likewise, single men and same-sex male partners often resort to surrogacy to have a baby, as it is the only way for them to have a genetic child using their reproductive cells. In these cases, surrogacy is required just because human males do not have the anatomy needed for natural embryonic and fetal development.
            This might help you

            • Hello Lana. Sad to hear this that you are facing fertility crisis. This is such an enormous pain you are going through but believe me, you are taking a very right decision on surrogacy. There is nothing bad about it. Just don’t worry about it. Well if we talk about surrogacy procedure, in surrogacy Gestational bearer courses of action are more typical than customary surrogacy. In this course of action, the egg from the planned mother or an egg contributor is treated by sperm from the expected father or a sperm benefactor. This is done through IVF. The surrogate mother won't be the hereditary parent of the child. Good luck with all this procedure.

              • Dear Lana I am sorry for your condition. The pain of not having a baby is extremely difficult to bear. Honey you aren't aware of the solutions that are being provided to the infertile women. Infertile women can achieve fertility through assisted origination treatment. What is reason of your infertility ? Surrogacy is one of the major procedure to overcome infertility. There are less risks but more benefits in this procedure. If the quality of your eggs are good then I would strongly suggest you to go for Gestational Surrogacy. Hence you and you husband will be the biological parents of the child. There are various clinics around the providing this technique. Look for the best clinic. It would be their responsibility to find the best surrogate match for you. Surrogacy is the best option for those infertile couples who want to complete their family. I wish you all the best in this procedure. Hope for good. Take care xx

                • I think you should listen to your heart. You don't have to satisfied everyone arround you. It's important that you decide what is the best for you and your family. You can't succeed that everyone agrees with you. I see that some ladies mentioned you BioTexCom. I think that is a good choice. I know them very well. Not because of surrogacy but if they are profesional in that treatment like in every other, you will be in good hands. Contact them and see do you agree.

                  • Hey lana! No, This is something which only depends on you, not anyone else. you are the only one which has the power to take a decision here. They can only suggest you what and what not. I feel so bad for you hon! that you can't conceive naturally, but trust me it's not your fault and nothing to be ashamed of. The decision you made is a good decision. Surrogacy is a process where the surrogate mother will carry the baby in her womb for you. The sperm used to conceive is your husband's. There are many good clinics around the world now, It's a little bit expensive, there are still some places where it's still a little bit cheaper than others, like Ukraine or India. Both countries have a high success rate of surrogacy. Good Luck! Much Love!

                    • Heyya. I hope that you're doing good. I'm really sorry to hear that you can't conceive naturally. It's really a heart-wrenching thing. The family is a blessing. It is probably the most wonderful thing ever. Children are a gift. One must do every possible thing to have them. Good to hear that you're going for surrogacy. It's a wonderful technique. Well, some people find it ethical. While others don't. I think you should go for it. It would be the best thing for you. Talking about the procedures, you'll have a surrogate first. Then all the legal documentation. Then the surrogate will carry your child. And the process goes on. I hope this helps you. Take care of yourself. Much love.

                      • Hey Lana. Hope you're doing good. If you have been fighting infertility for a long time period. I would suggest that you really start opting for other treatments. Even I am in that race however, I have decided to go for surrogacy. With the help of the people on this forum, I was able to find a perfect clinic for the treatment. They were so kind an talked about all the details in depth. I first watched all their videos and they too were extremely informative. Most of my questions were answered through that. My major concern was linked to the health of the surrogate mother. However, they told me how professional doctors take each every woman's test. This helps them determine if she is perfectly capable of conceiving or not. Also, I was really worried about the legal work. However, they even ran me down through it. I was really satisfied and would soon be flying to visit them. I think you should also start your search and find a good clinic. I would suggest this one to you as well.

                        • Hi Lana! I've seen an exact situation like yours. Well, I am also just another infertile person like you. I had this friend she was having endometriosis and she was under treatment with me. Our OBs was same and she was suggested for surrogacy later. Her family didn't want her to have a child that way. But later she went to Ukraine with her husband on her insist...It worked for them. They had the baby; her husband's sperm was fine. Later everyone accepted their decision and applauded them for it! I think you should really go for it. Your decision is right! Anyway! I still wish you luck! xx

                          • Hey there. I hope that you're doing good. I totally understand your problem here. Infertility is really the worst thing ever. The feeling of not becoming a mother ever is really a heart-wrenching thing. Infertility breaks a person both emotionally and physically. Everyone desires to have a family. It's the ultimate goal of every couple. I totally agree with your decision now. Everyone deserves to be happy. After suffering from everything, now you should definitely go for surrogacy. I think that you made a good decision. Actually, in some countries, it is thought to be unethical. Due to religious issues, some people consider it immoral and they spend all their lives longing for Children and facing infertility. It's a medical procedure, an opportunity, so every woman suffering from infertility should definitely go for it. It's the basic right of every person to be happy after all. Secondly, You're mentioning that you want to know about the surrogacy programs. Well, I went to Ukraine with a team for a survey. We were basically given the task to point out the best clinic and to study every procedure that includes documentation and information about the surrogates. So the clinic we visited at the third day of the survey was probably the best. We then observed different women going through the process, surrogates and their success. Well, the clinic provides safe procedures. Moreover, it doesn't want you to find a surrogate for your procedure. It serves a really great job in this regard. I've seen women having many complexes and nervousness before they go for surrogacy. They think that they would have differences with the child. But it's not right. I've seen women having successful procedures. And now they're living happily. So I think if you want to opt for surrogacy, you must visit Ukraine for the purpose. I wish you the best of luck. Take care!

                            • hey hey!! hope you are doing well.First congratulations on your big decision.I hope that the rest of your family also comes around soon.Well, surrogacy is a way of having a child from a surrogate mother. The eggs either donor or your own are taken and fertilized with the sperm of your partner and put into the womb of the surrogate mother. The surrogate mother has no right to the child after it is born. Now you must have a contract for that.Look for the best clinic out there and chose wisely.Choose the one where they offer unlimited trials package.that is the best one
