    • Most of the time a clear, watery discharge is normal. It is your body's way of cleansing itself. Some women just have more of it or more often than others.

The time to see a doc is if it changes to a (sorry to be graphic) cottage cheese like substance and it has a foul odor. This is most likely a yeast infection and should be treated.

For the benign discharge, it's important not to over cleanse to try and rid yourself of it. Don't douche more than once every 2-3 months, or not at all. Over doing it can throw off your body's internal chemistry and actually make it worse.

It sounds like your body is just doing what comes natural. I wouldn't worry. And if it continues, you can see a doc just to verify that you're healthy.

Now- about the 'I'm not pregnant if I have my period' thing. This is a myth. It is possible to be pregnant and still get your regular cycle. It's not greatly common but it happens. That's why protecting yourself is so important.

      Good luck with everything!

        • My feeling is that it's just something your body is doing naturally.

When in doubt-see the doc, but my gut says not to worry.
