CHANDLERS WISH repliedSo just for the readers, you are in fact purely talking about persperation around that area, glands that seem to like to work over time, much like the problem of some women who no matter what underarm they use, they have the same problem.
Just to clarify as wetness can also mean internal, from inside "wetness"...

JustaGirl repliedYou would think that my panties and my pants would be enough to absorb any moisture, but it usually is not. THIS is the problem I am having.Every time I use the restroom I make a point to wipe really really well to rid myself of any excess moisture, but as quickly as I make it dry it simply dampens again.
Because I am so hyper aware of this dampness I always check to make sure there is not embarrassing mark to be seen and usually there is. Pantyliners help, but honestly I have even gotton up to find that there is still a steamy/moisture mark just with a dry spot the shape of the liner. Ugh! I have learned to twist my legs to the side before standing up so that my legs wipe the area before I stand, especially at the gym when people (or my trainer) are standing right there next to me and watching. None of this helps the damp feeling either.
Today I bought some FDS and Summers Eve just for giggles and see if it changes anything. Does anyone else use these products? My Gyno told me that they aren't necessary and that simple soap like Dove is all we need, but I figured I'd see if it changes the wetness.

CHANDLERS WISH repliedYour really talking about two different issues.
1. Discharge
2. Perspiration.
As your thread is related to perspiration, it's normal to perspire anywhere where it is warm or "covered" and cotton is the best thing for breathing that's for sure.
You may note a few singers when on stage, sweat there and if they are not wearing the appropriate outfit it shows.
We have natural pores everywhere.
With respect to discharge on-going, some women can't feel sexy ever, only when they have sex.
Your body is reacting to "sensuality" feeling good perhaps about anything doesn't have to be about sex.
It may be a pain in the neck but trust me, you will one day appreciate this side instead of the opposite.
All you can do if your sick on panty liners, is to frequent the ladies and grab some loo paper...
If it's excessive and it doesn't sound like it is rather light, it won't go onto the chair when you sit down, your knickers will stop that...
You'll just always feel wet there.

WildChild repliedSounds normal to me. If I'm happy, I'm juicy. I only worry if I'm dry

JustaGirl started a topic Is there such a thing as Vaginal Perspiration? Is there such a thing as Vaginal Perspiration?
I see lots of postings about Discharge, but for some reason they don't resonate with what I am dealing with. Is there such a thing as vaginal perspiration?
Fortunately I have never had a STD, a urinary tract infection or a bladder infection before. I did once have a heat rash on my thigh/panty line before that I had to treat with some AF cream last summer, but that was totally external and had nothing to do with my vagina.
I have gone extra miles to wear only 100% cotton panties (which are so hard to find in anything other than Granny Panty style!) and I keep my area neat and trimmed if not shaved. The problem is that I ALWAYS feel like my panties are damp and it's not just annoying, but embarrassing!
I don't have any specific complaints or discoveries about discharge yet the panties are always lightly damp. When I sit on leather seats or other non-absorbent surfaces I am always so worried for there to be a crotch-mark visibly left behind when I get up- I hate it! I go through panties like crazy just trying to keep dry... anyone else have issues like this?
Pantyliners seem to help me feel a little fresher and cut back on the panty usage, but it still seems annoying to me. I do tend to run hot often and in general but wow, even down there??? Ew.
