  • Ovarian Cysts

    Hello everyone!

I have been reading about ovarian cysts since I had a MRI done on my hip. I have an ultra sound a few times and they have seen them there, but they said that they are so small that I shouldn't be bothered by them. So, I never investigated it, til now. I have had this pain, burning, stabbing, bring you to your knees pain for nine years. Yes, I said NINE years. All of the doctors I went to scratch their heads and say...I dunno!

I read some posts from other sites and just about everyone of them say they have experienced the same feelings that I have, though not for as long as I have. It seems to get worse around my period, but sometimes if I sit for to long or stand for to long it will begin to bother me. It is most of the time a dull ache, but sometimes it feels like I am being stabbed in the gut. It is so painful. And the weirdest thing is, is that sometimes it feels like little flutters, like when I was pregnant with my daughter. I even had a laparoscopy done by a Gyno and he said there was fluid around my ovaries and some cysts, but again he said it shouldn't be bothering me. GAH! I have pain in my lower back, my hip hurts like someone hit me with a baseball bat and it's painful to make love with my husband. (Which he doesn't seem to understand.)

I have gone through so many tests with no results. They can't figure out the simple answer. Has anyone gone through this? If so, how did you get your doctors to listen? Plus, every comment I see their cysts are twice the size as mine are. They are small, but that doesn't seem to make a difference really. I am tired of being in pain all the time. I have had moments of nausea and couldn't eat for days. I don't know what to do anymore. Any thoughts?

I don't tend to lie as such: but I will tactfully tell the truth/bend the truth, so as to not hurt the other person's feelings. Sometimes you HAVE to...
