    Hi!
    So I know this must be a common problem - I have a really exciting event to go to in two days, but RIGHT on time, I am getting the dreaded PMS face breakouts and bloated stomach like never before. I'm really frustrated because it's costing me a lot to go and I'm going to be a crying, acne-faced stomach-aching catastrophe.

    Does anyone have any tips on how they manage their skin and digestive issues leading up to/ during menstruation?

  • My wife always says that her diet affects the intensity of her symptoms. If she eats a lot of meat, fried food, and processed junk her cycle is worse. If she stays hydrated, eats mostly plants, and whole foods she does better.

    • It's about several things. Stillness is right, healthy diet and lots of water each day are keys. Regular exercise also helps. But some of it is just hormonal and you can't change that.

      I suggest not picking at the acne. For me, it always seemed like the more I did to it (picking, washing, chemicals, etc) the worse it got.
