The presence of fluid or blood in the uterus can be a concerning finding, particularly if you have gone through menopause. This is because postmenopausal bleeding is a significant symptom of endometrial cancer, which can cause fluid to accumulate in the uterus.

However, there can be other causes of fluid or blood in the uterus, including infection, polyps, fibroids, or hormonal imbalances. It's important to have a thorough evaluation by a healthcare professional to determine the underlying cause of the fluid or blood in the uterus.

In some cases, a hysteroscopy may be recommended to visualize the inside of the uterus and obtain a biopsy of the tissue. This can help to identify any abnormal growths or signs of cancer.

If you have not already done so, it's important to follow up with your doctor to discuss the findings of your ultrasound and any further testing or treatment that may be necessary. They can provide you with more specific information based on your individual situation.

Thanks for replying, but my answer to your question have I had any abnormal leakage and either blood or serum, and No, nothing like that yet, You asked have I been told that I have fibroids or a fissure, No not yet but I'am thinking I may have fibroids but I have more tests coming up in january that my doctor has gotten me in for and one test is a CT scan and the other test is a urodynamics test. I hope all the tests will show up something. Thank you for the reply.

I've not heard of this before. Usually if there were to be blood or some other fluid in one's uterus then it would drain out like a period. Have you had any abnormal leakage, either blood or serum? Have you ever been told you have fibroids? Have you or were you told you have a fissure?

Without further information it would be difficult to say what is going on.
