Powelle, while I agree that all those things are healthy and beneficial, reporting that doing any one of them consistently will fix anyone's depression, is a misrepresentation at best. Where is the research to support this? Patients claiming this success?
Are you a psychiatrist or psychologist? A mental health professional in any field?

Depression is a serious problem and to suggest such a relatively simple solution demonstrates a lack of understanding for this issue and the patient suffering with it.

Could you at least elaborate on the suggestions? "Try to have fun"? What does that mean? Just trying, not succeeding, will fix depression?

Have you ever wondered who comes first? Have you taken the time to ponder on your importance and what you are worth to yourself?

It is far too often that as time goes by we tend to lose focus of ourselves. We fail to see the difference we make to the people around us. This often causes us to feel valueless and insignificant to the world resulting in depressive and negative thoughts.

Agree with you that depression is the main problem nowadays and to deal with depression we must exercise regularly and have balanced meal plans. Avoid stimulant and have proper sleep daily.
