Hi st_simon, I would agree with you, it's a roller-coaster type of emotion; one day I'm furious with my boyfriend over his friend calling him and the next day I'm like who cares? I think that over time you will realize that your significant other is with you because they love YOU and not the other person. Just try to live as full a live as possible with as many types of people as you can and all of a sudden the other person will seem to have very little influence in your life. Take care and good luck, CD

Yes, jealousy can be hard to overcome, especially if you are just dating someone and are not living with them as you have no idea what they are doing when you're apart. I sometimes feel like I'm on a rollercoaster, one day it infuriates me and the next day I'm thinking, who cares. What I have tried to do is remind myself that my boyfriend is with ME, not the other woman and if he wanted to be with her it would have happened long ago.

Good luck and take care, CD
