    V-Day Anxiety

Just curious to hear what some of you ladies have in store for your significant others come February 14th. And men if your out there, how about you, what you would hope to have happen for you on Valentines Day?

What type of gifts do you give a man for Valentines Day in a new but established relationship?

Do men want flowers and candy? Power Tools? Something pertaining to their hobbies and interests like a Christmas or Birthday gift or should it be of a romantic nature? What if you plan dinner for them but they already have one planned for you? Are you supposed to ask or wait and see what happens and what if no one plans anything, do you just both smile at each other say whoops? Honestly I would be happy with anything, I'm sure he'd feel the same but I would like to suprise him.

How do you know if your going to under do it or over do it? Why is such a fun and exciting holiday stressing me out? hehe. Deep breath. Help.

I am head over heels for this guy and I want and try to knock his socks off every day not just Valentines Day, but I'd like to make it special nonetheless.

I already throw on the sexy lingerie, I've already been pleasing him (and have been being pleased) in all the sexual ways I can think of at the moment. There is still new stuff to try of course but I worry that I don't have much of a wow to give on this day and I really would like to. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My husband and I have an agreement that we don't do valentines day, we choose to try and do something romantic on our anniversary - prior to being married, the anniversary was the day we became a couple. Ocassionally one of us might surprise the other by doing something for valentines which is great because the other person wasn't expecting anything.

Some valentines days, Ive slipped a heart shaped chocolate into his bag/lunchbox, or a note in the car so he finds it when he goes to hop in the car. Another time I left in the lounge for him, a bottle of his favourite alcohol with a balloon tied to it. ive just done something subtle as I didn't want him to be embarrassed or feel bad as he wouldn't have planned or brought anything.

For our anniversary, either one of us - whoever is home first has set up a nice table setting in the garden, weve had fairy lights, nice music playing, a nice dinner and a bit of wine.
A night away in a nice hotel always goes down well to - you could present him with the booking details on Valentines day.
Flowers NO - I made the mistake of giving flowers to a guy on this 30th birthday - he thought I was a total nutter.
Popping out of a cake when he arrives home in a sexy outfit - maybe?

Whatever you do, don't do anything spectacularly soppy to him in front of his workmates - not good. Keep it to the privacy of your own home!

I totally agree with the above. Maybe a bottle of champagne or good wine with a note that says how much your time with him has meant to you and how you look forward to getting to know him further!

I am a hopeless romantic so I actually made something for him. I know it's totally corny but I always do little things for him to make sure he knows just how much I love him.

This year I made him a puzzle. Cheezy, yeah probably but I know he'll love it. It's a heart puzzle and in each square I wrote something that I loved about him and put other things on it. I'm actually really excited about it.

I did stress at first about what to do. I wanted to buy him something but he told me not to because of how bad the economy is and my current financial state. On top of that he is a little anti Valentine's Day but in his heart I know he likes it.

Well, this year, I asked him what his favorite candy bar was and he said hershy, so I went to the hershy website and personalized a BIG hershy bar for him to arrive at his house this week, we are a long distance relationship because I am in the Navy, but I do get to come home this weekend, but he said his parents are making him watch his little sis. I am 20 he is 19. So, IDK, it is looking like we wont really get to spend much time together, but I guess we shall see, it might be a cover up for him planning something but I doubt it, V-day is his parents anniversary....hince watching his sis.

In the past I usually bake something and dress it up for V-day. Once I took my man on a "treasure hunt" in our city...Orlando, ending in me singing to him as a surpise at a local family restraunt..I called hte place before hand and set it all up, he was SO shocked.

Well for my Hubby I just got finished making him cup cakes (they are heart shaped), and a home made card. An idea for you to do for him is leave sexy little notes hidden in place where he would find them through out the day, in each note write something you love about him or some thing that he will be able to look forward to that night (if you catch my drift ). Hope this helps! Good luck to you tomorrow.
