it only started a few months ago, and yeah it's getting to be more frequent. he has had the same girlfriend for a long time, but he acts completely different around her, and he cheats on her. he used to be an alcoholic, he still drinks but not as bad and he's never hit me while drunk.
that's the conclusion i've come to as well, im trying to save money and finish my grade 11 so i can get out

If he cut you with a razor, go to the police (or child protective services). Even in a group home you will be better protected than you are in your own home. Even if you go to foster care it will be better. I was a foster parent for a while - from what I can tell the majority of foster parents really do care - and you will be treated far better then you are at home.

An angry slap would be bad, but isn't dangerous. A razor is a whole different issue, and suggests someone dangerously out of control.

I suggest you get out, and get out now. Don't ask anyone to pay ANYTHING for you, just get out.
I've been 100% financially independent since I was 18, and paying everything but rent since I was 16. Get whatever job you can get, lean on whatever friends you can. I say don't ask anyone for anything, but who I mean is your parents. They are obviously terribly sick, to have one do the abuse to you and the other allow it.
Even if it means going to live with your boyfriend for a while ... your safety is more important than the idea that you shouldn't depend too much on him.

          I agree with Little.

If you re-read one of your last posts, your suggesting that your at the end of your tether, you don't care anymore, he can do it.

          NO...

The moment you allow him to fully take control, you will never move, or succeed in that scholarship because he will have bought you down so low/so far that you won't care about that.

Locking someone behind closed doors for a period of time, abusing them, cutting them, destroying their self worth, is abuse and the longer it goes on, the less fight you will have.

Please find a place to go and work and in that, you will have that scholarship but also be smiling, laughing and never, ever, have to worry about any more abuse, and tears.
