What do I say to her?
I have a husband, we don't go out often with others, we are busy. We will usually just go out the two of us. We one group of people we are starting to hang out with more, has one person that just bugs the hell out of me. She is one of those fake hello's, how you doing. She seems to always be drinking to much & I think she uses that excuse to flirt. When we meet she makes it a mission to give my husband a big hung, sometimes hugs me but there's no going out of her way to give me one. She will slither up to my husband, her leg against his, her hand on his back things like that. I said to him one night why don't you tell her to give you space he said I don't want to make a sceen. He said well she was drunk, I said she's always drunk & hitting on men, married or not. I said to him when we were out just notice the hug thing. The next time we went out, she did give us both a hug when we got there when we left I gave her a hug, my husband was talking to someone as she & her husband were leaving so no oppertunity for a hug. She waited till he was done talking to his friend to give him a big old hug, while her husband stood at the door waiting for her. My husband did say he noticed, I'm sure he like's the attention, but she can get pretty vulgar at times & he does want her to get away, what does he say. I said if you don't something I will. Like get you mitts off my husband, which I have heard other ladies tell her that, but he's afrid I'll something incorrect. -

Have you thought about approaching the other couple as a couple? Or have you thought about approaching her about her drinking to excess all of the time? Expressing some concern or empathy?
If the behavior bothers your husband, he needs to say something to either her directly or her husband indirectly. If it bothers you, then he should go to her husband and address it with him. There are ways to be tactful in whatever you decide to do.
No reason to sink to her level to the point of making a scene, offending her or anyone else.Comment

Sorry for my language but this lady sounds like a real who****. She is always drunk, and hitting on married men. I would be so furious if someone was trying to be all over my husband. You need to say something to her, or go up to her with your husband and have him tell her she is inappropriate at times, and to back off a little. Better yet, tell her husband how you feel. You don't have to make a scene, just be sincere and direct. She needs to know that your not going to put up with her flirting with your hubby.Comment
